10 minutes preparation
For the rim:
1 tablespoon flaky sea salt
1 lime
A small pinch mild chilli flakes (such as Aleppo pepper)
For the cocktail:
400g strawberries, hulled and halved
100g Mrs Bridges Strawberry Preserve with Champagne
2 lime, juice only
400g crushed ice
150ml tequila
Crush the salt between your fingers until the flakes are quite small. Zest the lime into the salt and then add the chili flakes and mix well, put on a small plate or shallow bowl. Cut a wedge of lime and use this to dampen the rim of four cocktail glasses. Dip the rim of each cocktail glass into the salty mixture.
Put the strawberries, Mrs Bridges Strawberry Preserve, crushed ice, tequila and juice of 1 lime into a blender and blitz until smooth. Taste and add more Strawberry preserve or lime juice as desired. Blitz again.
Serve immediately in the prepared glasses.
